How to manage Web Notifications

Stay on top of the news all day with the 性视界传媒聽 web notifications. We鈥檒l let you know 鈥 right in your web browser 鈥 when there鈥檚 big breaking news happening, and also share our editors鈥 top picks so you see the best of what the the Sentinel has to offer.

In Safari:

  1. Change the Safari Permissions
  2. Go to the Safari menu and select Preferences.
  3. Select Websites.
  4. Click Notifications in the left menu pane.
  5. The right side of the window contains a list of the sites that asked for permission to send you notifications.

In Chrome:

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More. Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and security Site Settings. Notifications.
  4. Select the option that you want as your default setting.
  5. Block a site: Next to 鈥淣ot allowed to send notifications,鈥 click Add.

In Firefox:

  1. Go to the browser menu and select 鈥淪ettings.鈥
  2. On the left, click on 鈥淧rivacy & Security.鈥
  3. Scroll down to the 鈥淧ermissions鈥 window, and select 鈥淣otification.鈥
  4. If you want to disable notifications, check 鈥淧ause notifications until Firefox restarts.鈥 Notifications will not appear until you restart Firefox.

In Edge:

  1. In Edge, go to Settings and more in the upper right corner of your browser window.
  2. Select Settings > Cookies and site permissions and select Notifications.
  3. Under Allow, you will find a list of websites that are currently sending you notifications.
  4. Select the three dots next to the website from which you want to stop receiving notifications and select either Remove or Block.
