UPDATED:

A missing girl last seen in York County has been located and is safe, Virginia State Police said Thursday afternoon.

A Codi Alert was issued by Virginia State Police on behalf of the Poquoson Police Department Wednesday night for 15-year-old Aubrey Michelle Lymon. She was last seen on foot on St. Clair Street, a road that rounds the Belmont at York apartment complex and a small pond.

The alert said she has brown eyes, black hair, is about 5-foot-2-inches in height and weighs about 120 pounds. At the time, she was least seen wearing a black shirt and black pants.

A Codi Alert, or a Critical Operation for a Disappeared Child Initiative Alert, indicates that there is a credible threat to the missing child.
